This piece was inspired by a much smaller painting I completed years ago. It had always been a popular piece and I wanted to create a larger version. Long lost is the photograph from which the first painting was derived and so my imagination took hold. This painting became a representation of several beaches I have walked. Drawing the viewer in on the violet path of dampened sand to the far shore and upwards to the clouds which joyfully rest in the sky's eternal space, "To the Point" is a reminder of how a quiet walk in nature
can restore your soul!
