With my "Live Preview" tool, you can use the camera on your phone to project your favorite prints on to your own wall
to see how the prints will look! 

The simple directions to use the tool are below the 4 pictures.

The picture of your chosen print will change each time you choose a specific option, giving you the opportunity to see what it looks like before you commit.

With your phone, simply go to my website and click on the image of the print you are considering, then....

1) Choose the Medium you prefer: Paper, Canvas or Metal.
(Keep in mind the paper prints will need to be matted and framed)

2) Choose the Size you think would be best for the wall you are considering. If you missed it the last time I sent my free "Choosing & Hanging Art Guide" it has 10 tips to help you in the process.

3) Choose the Style you would like. For paper prints, the options are matted and ready to frame or unmatted, delivered to you in a tube for matting and framing at a local framer.

For the canvas prints the options are a border color for the edges of the canvas, or the "mirrored" edge, which gives the impression of the image continuing over the edges to the sides.

Canvas prints also have the option of buying them un-stretched and delivered to you in a tube for stretching at a local framer. This will save on shipping costs, particularly for the larger, canvas prints. Or you can have it delivered to you stretched around to the back of a 1.25" deep stretcher bar, wired and ready to hang! (this finish is called a Gallery Wrap)

Once your choices have been made, scroll to the bottom of the "Style" page where you will see the "Live Preview" option and the "Wall Preview" option. 

The "Wall Preview" option allows you to check out how a specific style and size print will look in a bedroom, conference room, living room, office, etc. with various wall colors.

The "Live Preview Tool" option allows you to see the print on an actual wall. First, follow the prompt and "allow access" to your phone camera. Then stand back ten feet from the given wall. If the chosen print size is not right, you can change it at the bottom of your phone's screen. You can also drag the image to your desired location.

The broken seashells I paint are used as operating metaphors for the aging process we all must endure, and the painful events that will inevitably come our way, should we be lucky enough to live a long life. However, as the beauty of our youth fades away, we can work on our inner life. We can become more self-aware and do our best to be a peaceful presence wherever we may be.  With intent and practice we can become more patient, compassionate and kind.

On hot summer days in the South, we often sit in the water with a cold drink and a big hat, keeping cool in the great outdoors while enjoying the company of family and friends. I was doing just that when I took the picture, which is the inspiration for this painting. The swells were no more than 3” high. In blowing up the image I am calling attention to the unique designs that move and shift with the rhythm of the waves.  The shapes of green and white are quite accurate, though I saturated the color and stylized the decorative green lines within the white reflections, giving this piece a very abstract quality.
 
Though water is soft and supple, with time, it has the ability to carve through solid rock. May water be a reminder to us all of the strength that comes from patience,
perseverance and the ability to flow with life.
